My schedule for June

by Gianluca Varisco on June 2, 2009

As Max and Jeroen, I’m going to spend June travelling and doing great things. Here is my schedule:

- June 6, 2009: I’ll be in Mantova attending MEMOByte 2009, an event about GNU/Linux and Free Software organized by ARCO (Associazione Reti Civiche On-line). Luca Foppiano, member (and key contributor) of the Fedora Italian Ambassadors group, will give a talk there about Fedora FEL. I’ll help him the whole day to spread out Fedora core values and let the people know the power of our strong community.

- June 8-9, 2009: I’ll be in Rome attending Red Hat Symposium and helping my colleagues with logistics stuff. It is going to be a great experience.

- June 12-13, 2009: I’ll be in Bologne for III Conferenza Italiana sul Software Libero. This event aims to get together all the free software contributors (users, developers) around Italy.

- June 19-21, 2009: Thanks to the gracious invitation of Luca Foppiano, I’ll attend the third annual Byte-Code 2009 Meetup in Bormio, a charming little town known for its spa open all year round, beauty and thermal treatments.

- June 26-28, 2009: Berlin will hold the next FUDCon (Fedora Users and Developers Conference) in conjunction with LinuxTag 2009. I’d love to be there and I’ll do my best, but I have still to check flights/hotels and try to figure out if it is feasible due to my very tight budget.

Anyway, it is going to be a great month and I hope to have a lot of fun! Ping me if you are going to attend any of these events!
