Last Saturday I attended the MemoByte 2009 event in Mantova (Italy). It has been, without doubts, a great experience and chance to spread out Fedora.
Luca already blogged about that carefully, therefore I’m just going to tell in advance our fellows contributors what we have been able to achieve thanks to our commitment to the project over the years and, of course, to our team. The organizers of one of the biggest italian electronic fairs are evaluating to put Fedora Italian Ambassadors in charge of the whole “IT” pavilion during the Cerea’s two-days electronic fair that will be held in January 2010 and attracts, edition by edition, over 20.000 visitors. What it means?
- a strong Fedora presence
- A lot of people that could attend our speeches, workshops and installation parties.
- As we saw a lot of interest and hype around Fedora Electronic Lab, we will probably try to invite our own FEL’s ninja, Chitlesh Goorah
In the next months we will do our best to work through all the tasks required in order to ensure the biggest italian Fedora presence. We will keep you updated!
